Jim Cleveland
Principal Consultant
Mr. Cleveland supports municipal transit agencies with
automatic fare collection management and engineered
solutions. He also leads Auriga’s multi-modal transportation
systems design and integration services business. Jim is a
licensed professional engineer with over 25 years experience that
includes commercial nuclear control systems design, fare
collection net-centric system design, quality assurance and
international senior project management.
Mr. Cleveland was vice president and division manager of Parsons
Revenue Collection Management Systems. In this capacity he led
project managers and engineers on numerous automatic fare
collection and electronic toll collection procurement, installation
and commissioning for municipal agencies. He founded System
Engineering Associates, an engineering consulting company that
provided professional engineering services to the transportation
and electric utility industries.

Loui Lau
Senior Consultant
Mr. Lau has over 25 years of experience
in Telecommunication.
Mr. Lau is a senior management professional with extensive
international experience in USA, Canada, Germany, India,
Korea and Hong Kong in program management, product
development, business development and leadership in
the telecommunication industry for both data and
voice network products. He has extensive experience
in growing and managing large multi-site development teams.
Since joining the Auriga Corporation, he leads the
system integration testing and field deployment of
TransLink® for BART. Mr. Lau is also responsible
for the transition management and risk management
of SamTrans’ Automatic Fare Collection (AFC)
system to ensure a smooth transition from the
existing low tech fare boxes to the state of the art
AFC system.
Mr. Lau was the VP of Engineering of Albacore
Semiconductors responsible for the development
of the Solid Sate Drive (SSD) controller chip.
Before that, Mr. Lau held different senior
management positions in program management
and product development with Nortel,
Centillium Communications and Ditech Networks.
