Auriga was awarded a contract to provide project management services in support of the development of a Project Resourcing and Schedule Management (PRSM) system. The PRSM Project replaces the existing, outdated, project management software with a new project management application and implements new project delivery processes, roles and responsibilities. The software component of PRSM is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software application which will be used to manage the schedule, resource and cost data for all of the Caltrans’ Capital Projects and to integrate planned project data with several of the Caltrans’ other systems (Staff Central and E-FIS). Auriga’s project manager’s experience with the Clarity software, the COTS solution, was key to securing this assignment.
