- TransLink® Website Development
The purpose of the MTC TransLink® web site is to allow
the commuters to order TransLink Card(s), Add funds to existing
cards and setup AutoLoad. The AutoLoad process allows the
system to automatically recharge the TransLink Card.
This website allows commuters to provide information about
Smart Cards and allow the purchase the Smart Card online.
It also provides a list of nearest vendors who carry the
Smart Cards. Smart Cards are accepted on various transit
systems throughout the Bay Area, including BART and City
and County Bus Systems. The advantage of Smart Card lies
in the fact that the commuter no longer will have to carry
cash of each of the transaction on the various transit systems.
The website is developed using combination of Java and PHP.
On the back end it, is connected to the Transaction Processing
Server, which processes various methods of payment including,
e-Cash, Credit Cards etc. The site content is managed using
ePlus-Content Management Software. Auriga's role is to convert
the content to the html format and upload to the ePlus -Content
Management software and to configure the ePlus to facilitate
future uploads.
CCFC (California Children and Family
Commission)
Auriga Corporation under this contract with CCFC is providing
qualified IT staff to provide the Local Area Network and
Desktop Support services for a period of one year. Further,
Auriga Consultants will be responsible for advising on network
hardware issues, desktop hardware issues and network and
desktop software issues.
CCFC has about 50 users and 10 servers. Auriga staff provides
the support for the following server:
1. Web Server
2. SQL 2000 Server
3. VPN Authentication
4. File/Print Server with
two drives
5. Domain Controller
6. Exchange Server
7. Blackberry Server
8. GIS Server
