Director, Transmission & Distribution Systems

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage Transmission, Distribution and Substation Design projects in the Utility industry.
2. Provide technical leadership and directions to the project teams.
3. Make sure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
4. Interface with clients to make sure Auriga is delivering high quality services.
5. Identify new business opportunities in the Utility industry (Investor Owned & Municipal Utilities).
6. Responsible for proposal preparation and submission.
7. Responsible for contract negotiations and execution of contracts.
8. Responsible for Profit & Loss of T&D Business Unit

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Professional Engineer (License) in the State of California is desirable.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Management and Business Development is required.
4. Ability to interface with various technical groups and management, including clients, at all levels is required.
5. Must be customer focused with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
6. Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required.
7. High energy and motivation levels are required.
